The secret to great portrait photography lies not just in the technical ability but most importantly in the photographer’s interpersonal skill in order to achieve the best from those in front of the camera.
When I photograph musicians I just let them play. When I photograph actors I just let them act and when I photograph comedians I just let them be crazy as if they were on stage making people laugh.
In fact that’s how I approach all of my work. I find the true spirit of my subjects when I just let them be themselves without too much direction. That’s how the fun, heart, personality and most of all stories of my clients are told in powerful and emotive images.
